Looking for a great family friendly activity to do while in McCall? Look no further than guided kokanee fishing with us! We love to get kids out on the water and get them their first kokanee. What about a guys’ trip out on the water, a chance to learn kokanee fishing from one of the best, or just a chance to spend time with your family in the peace and quiet?  Whatever the reason, kokanee fishing on Payette Lake is a great way to spend some time in Idaho’s beautiful outdoors in our super comfortable 25’ Alumaweld Columbia.

Idaho Fish and Game has put in some fantastic work to help Payette recover its native kokanee population, and through on-going stocking efforts, has created a wonderful kokanee fishery. We even catch bonus trout and mackinaw on occasion. 

Kokanee is arguably the best table fair around, and nothing beats throwing the fish you caught in the morning on the BBQ for dinner that night. (Check out this receipe for BBQ kokanee on our blog) McCall’s high elevation keeps the temps down in the summer, and with the great shopping and restaurants in town, nothing beats a trip with us!

Trips are $250 per person, typically starting at 7:30 and going to when your limit of fish is caught or 6 hours, whichever comes first.  Trips have a two person minimum and a six person max, with a full boat discount given at 4 people. Children under 14 are free but aren't able to keep their own limits.
